概念︰唾手俯拾腳邊的黑白石子,擺上以鉛筆繪出格線的木頭棋盤進行對弈。視五子棋做為互動基底,在規則自由延展之下,端看參與者創造屬於每個當下的新玩法;既可下棋,亦可成為某種藉石子產生繪畫或雕塑般行為的創作,同時引發只屬於那段過程的聲景。
在科技越發演進的時代,想獲得內心娛樂的滿足,越是仰賴非實物的介質。想像當一切近乎歸零,人們能重新思考從生活中易於取得的實體物件,主動發掘和創造其趣味之處,不再僅只是被動獲取他者或外界所給予的誘惑。

Gomoku (2015)
Medium: wood, stone, pencil
Size: dimensions variable
Concept: Pick up the black and white pebbles at hand and place them on a wooden chessboard marked with grid lines drawn in pencil, ready for a game. Using Gomoku (Five-in-a-Row) as the interactive foundation, with flexible rules, it all depends on the participants to create new gameplay unique to each moment. It can be a game of strategy or even a form of artistic creation, using the stones to generate drawings or sculptural actions, while simultaneously evoking the unique soundscape of that particular process.
In an era where technology is advancing rapidly, the satisfaction of inner entertainment increasingly relies on non-physical mediums. Imagine a scenario where everything is almost reset, and people can reconsider the inherent qualities of readily available physical objects in their lives. They actively explore and create their own sources of amusement, no longer simply passively succumbing to temptations imposed by others or the external world.
